We envision communities where young people have access to the education, skills, mentorship, networks, and economic opportunities they need to build independent and meaningful lives. Our vision begins in Haiti, but it does not end there. We believe that when young people are equipped to create businesses, build careers, solve problems, and lead within their communities, the impact extends far beyond one individual.

NHF envisions a future where a young person’s circumstances do not determine the limits of what they can become. We see young people gaining practical skills that lead to employment, entrepreneurs turning ideas into sustainable businesses, students gaining access to education, emerging leaders solving problems, and mentors opening doors. The goal is progress that continues long after the program ends.
We are building toward a generation that does not have to wait for opportunity.
We envision young people equipped with the knowledge, confidence, relationships, and resources to create opportunity for themselves and others. Not dependency. Not temporary solutions. Not potential left unrealized. But people capable of building careers, businesses, families, organizations, and stronger communities.
The ultimate measure of our work will not be how many people need NHF. It will be how many people no longer do.
